Flashing lights and contrasting light/dark image patterns may trigger seizures in viewers suffering from photosensitive epilepsy.
A Harding test is a thorough scan of your material to check if it complies with the Ofcom’s guidelines on flashing images and regular patterns.
Passing this test means your programme is safe to air and it won’t cause seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy.
All content broadcast in UK must pass the Harding test.
Each analysis comes with a certificate.

Eye Ball QC
Eye ball QC is a watch through of your content with attention to detail and focus on all things technical.
The first step is to go through the delivery spec, if we’re provided with one, or to note down all of the instructions for compliance.
Secondly, we’ll go through the embedded metadata and filename and check/compare the readily available data.
Lastly, a visual run of the content from start to finish. A report will then be generated and provided. It will include the technical attributes found and also any errors found that are worth flagging, with the relevant timecodes and brief description of the faults and their severity.
